Industri is a first-of-its-kind tertiary education organisation built by, and for, the live music business. Founded by leading luminaries in Australia’s live performance industry, our concentrated program is designed to help students master the fundamentals necessary for a fruitful career in live music.
Our industry-driven curriculum combines decades of time-tested experience with immersive, project-based instruction — preparing our students with the practical skills necessary to thrive in today’s live music industry. Delivered in partnership with the Australian Institute of Music, the specialised courses we deliver offer a uniquely true-to-life learning environment, designed to give students hands-on mastery of the live music industry.
With small class sizes, our students get the one-on-one mentorship they need — all from industry experts committed to providing opportunities well suited to students’ passions and abilities.
We’re sound engineers, venue and festival owners, merchandise operators, touring and production managers. We’re live music industry lifers, and we’re looking to raise the bar.
As active players in live music, we bring together decades of practical experience into a hands-on, post-secondary education program. We’re Industri, and our aim is simple: to invest in the future of the industry we love by creating meaningful career pathways for the people who will shape it tomorrow.
Industri is a proud education partner of the prestigious Australian Institute of Music (AIM), an institution responsible for educating world-class musicians, producers and composers for over 50 years.
Industri delivers AIM’s Diplomas and Associate Degrees in Arts and Entertainment Management and Music (Creative Technology) with a focus on non-performance roles in live music. Industri students gain the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in live sound and music business operations while earning degrees from AIM.

We pay our deepest respects to First Nations Elders: past, present, and emerging.
