Introducing 'More Voices, More Volume' Scholarship

Introducing 'More Voices, More Volume' Scholarship

The music industry is recognised for its diversity and creativity, yet the voices of women and gender non-conforming individuals are still underrepresented. That's where the 'More Voices, More Volume' Scholarship steps in. This scholarship is a potentially life-changing opportunity that can empower one young woman or gender non-conforming individual to pursue their passion in music without the burden of financial strain.

Launched by Industri Education, in partnership with The Push, the scholarship aims to promote greater diversity and representation within the music industry. By offering a full year's tuition, the scholarship allows the recipient to study, create, and explore their musical talents further in a supportive and inclusive environment.

So, if music is your passion, and you're not afraid to make some noise, this might be an opportunity worth exploring.

Eligibility

To become an eligible candidate for the 'More Voices, More Volume' scholarship, you must identify as a woman or as a gender non-conforming individual. Part of your application should include a personal statement of 500 words. This personal narrative will serve to showcase your industry involvement and unwavering commitment to music. We want to understand your journey, your aspirations, and your dedication to the field.

Additionally, you should be on the path to start the AIM Associate Degree of Arts and Entertainment Management, or the Associate Degree of Music (Creative Technology) - both courses delivered by Industri Education, in 2024. This requirement, ensures that recipients are dedicated to professional advancement through formal education.

A final prerequisite is active participation in The Push program or a Freeza Committee. With this provision in place, we aim to support applicants who have already proven their commitment by engaging in local initiatives that foster music talent and careers.
